The group boasts its own hall, which enables all sections to operate exciting
and varied activities.

We have highly motivated and trained leaders. Who can offer exciting opportunities for children aged 6 – 14 years and older.

A very warm welcome to the 2nd Wylde Green (6th Sutton Coldfield East) Scout Group. This Group was established by Phil Baker back in 1929. It originally met at Emmanuel Church then relocated in 1936 following the purchase of a small parcel of land being the present site off Douay Road. The affairs of the Group are the responsibility of a small committee of Management made up of Leaders, Supporters and Parents and your participation is invited.


Scouting activities are organised by a team of trained and Warranted Leaders, all of whom are unpaid and who give freely of their time providing fun, education and adventure for your children. To do all this, they and I simply ask for your wholehearted support and occasional help.
